A fine Sumatran kris handle
A fine Sumatran kris handle carved as the figure Raksha (?), made from a whale’s tooth and now with the finest orange/brown patina. The figure is carved with naga ornaments (dragon headed snakes) in a seated position with long curly hair. Silver cup with scrafito decoration inscribed with pricked inscriptions in Arabic (?). Probably 17th Century.
