A pair of 40 bore percussion overcoat pistols by Henderson of Aberdeen, c 1835. Turn off octagonal barrels engraved Henderson Aberdeen with fern tip engraving around muzzles, Birmingham proofmarks. Frames with nicely engraved foliage and borders. Boxlock sidehammer actions with flush fitting triggers. Flattened walnut grips, large vacant silver escutcheons. A crisp pair of pistols with slight traces of original finish.
