A charming hard brown leather shot bag
A charming hard brown leather shot bag probably c 1800-1825, struck on both sides with a scene of a hunter and two dogs and signed WILSON SHEF (presumably Sheffield). The scene is redolent of the wood engravings of Thomas Bewick of Newcastle. Brass top with ‘inside charger’. Excellent patina overall.
Overall length 7½” (18.8cms)
