An Indian dagger Katar 18th century, blade of polished and dark finely watered Oriental Damascus steel with thickened point and burnished edges. Hilt decorated with gold damascene (Koftgari) in bands of formal foliate designs, side bars with pierced finials. In its plum velvet covered sheath.
