An Indian dagger Chilanam
An Indian dagger Chilanam, 17th century. The tapered and recurved blade is plain. The hilt is cut for inlaid gold and silver decoration of which only the slightest traces remain. The leaves beneath the pommel button are an unusual feature. This dagger is well worn and lightly pitted overall.
