An Indian dagger jambya, first half of the 19th century. Curved blade of dark well defined oriental watered steel retaining its original polish, with raised ribs and thickened point. Steel ferules and gripstrap decorated with gold koftgari flowers. The two piece polished ivory grips have a good colour and patina. Contained in its original green silk velvet covered sheath..
