A Victorian courtsword
A Victorian courtsword, the blade by Ball & Son, Princes St Hanover Sq., London, etched and polished with a crowned V.R., crossed flags, laurel wreath and foliage. The beaded pattern hilt of gilt brass, contained in its leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts. The sword retains nearly all its original polish and gilding overall.
