An unusual smallsword built for a child
An unusual smallsword built for a child, English or Dutch, late 17th century. The tapered blade of hollow ground triangular section. The brass hilt retains traces of its original silvererd finish, a little foliate decoration overall, the shell guards of diminutive size. The grip is bound with woven and twisted copper wire and tape.
