An Edward 7th (1901-1910) 1827 pattern Rifle Officer's sword. The blade by M. Wiseman Sackville St. London W, is etched and mirror polished with the crowned EVIIR cypher amidst scrolling foliage. The steel hilt of regulation pattern the grip covered with fishskin (the wire binding missing). Contained in its steel dress scabbard with traces of plated finish. The blade retains nearly all of its original mirror polish.
