Description:
An 1821 Pattern Light Cavalry office's Presentation sword of the Bengal Artillery. The blade is etched and polished with crowned VR cypher, regimental title and device amidst scrolling foliage, together with "A.T. WALLACE FROM Lt Coln DONNELL". Regulation steel triple bar guard and gripstrap, the grip covered in fishskin and bound with twisted copper wire. Contained in its steel dress scabbard.
