A horn shaped steel priming flask
A horn shaped steel priming flask, Persian, 18th century, of polished and dark finely watered Damascus steel, the body nicely swollen. Elaborate pierced steel mounts upon foil lined steel backing plates. Lever charge and base plate with pierced hinged hanging loops and finials; spout lid surmounted by a bird.
