An unusual Polish sabre in the Oriental manner
An unusual Polish sabre in the Oriental manner, 18th century. The broad curved blade is double edged for 12" at the tip. Brass mounts, the crosspiece with shell shaped finials, the pomel of shamshir form. The grip is covered with sharkskin and has 3 brass studs on each side.
