A sword of Knighthood
A sword of Knighthood, first ½ of the 19th Century. The double edged blade of shallow diamond section, the pommel and crosspiece of gilt brass, the grip is bound with twisted copper wire and retains its woven turks heads. The sword retains nearly all its original gilding, the blade has some patches of pitting.
