A sword of Knighthood
A sword of Knighthood, first ½ of the 19th Century. The double edged blade of diamond section. The hilt and scabbard mounts of gilt brass, the grip bound with twisted gilt wire. Contained in its scabbard covered with green velvet. Retaining virtually all its original gilding overall.
Blade length 27½" (70cms) Overall length including scabbard 34¼" (87cms)
