A good Central African tribal dagger "billa" c 1900. The swollen blade with shallow central rib. The flattened grip made from 2 sections of ivory, spaced horn and with thin layers of brass and zinc between, surmounted by a tall 6 sided silver pommel with filigree decoration. In its hide sheath with leather belt. Good age patina.
