A scarce Hungarian iron mace
A scarce Hungarian iron mace, second half of the 16th Century. The head is made from 8 vanes each rising to a point. The hollow haft with a braised seam is formed with an octagonal grip, two facetted bands and a long polygonal section. The head is surmounted by a dome with a small knop.
