A Georgian Warrant Officer’s sword used 1825-1832.
A Georgian Warrant Officer’s sword used 1825-1832. The straight blade is etched with the crowned Royal Arms and large fouled anchor together with 2 large naval trophies incorporating topgallants, flags, fenders, anchor and cannon. The regulation brass stirrup hilt retains traces of original gilding, the langets are engraved with fouled anchors. The grip is covered with black fishskin and bound with twisted copper wire. The sword is in untouched condition and would benefit from a light clean.
