An unusual silver mounted Lowland Scottish dirk by Boog of Edinburgh c 1800, single edged blade stamped “BOOG”. Chequered maplewood (?) hilt with silver ferrule. In its brown leather sheath with silver mounts and hanging ring. Excellent age patina overall.
Blade length 9½” (24.5cms) Overall length 14” (36cms).
