A scarce Imperial German Infantry officer’s sword

A scarce Imperial German Infantry officer’s sword for forces serving in China c 1870. The straight plated blade is cut with twin fullers, stamped by the maker E & F Horster Solingen, and is preserved in almost mint condition. The regulation brass guard contains the Chinese dragon in relief, and the grip is covered with fish skin. The sword is contained in its original steel scabbard. Good age patina.
